Member of the Month

Each month, one or more members are selected for special recognition based on his or her service to the club. To nominate someone for this honor, submit his/her name to the club President or Vice President, along with a short description of the reason the person should receive “Member of the Month” recognition. Current board members do not qualify for this distinction.

June 2008: Richard Pucillo Several of the club members had expressed difficulty in seeing the demonstration monitors. On his own initiative Richard built two risers that put the monitors high enough for all to see. Our club has functioned best when a member sees a way to fill a need or fix a problem. We recognize Richard for his spirit of volunteerism and helping that is the heart of a good club.		May 2008: Rex Brown   We recognize Rex as our Member of the Month for his energy, volunteerism and enthusiasm for both woodturning and for the learning and teaching that is the core mission of the club.   Since joining late last year, Rex has convinced five new members to join us.  Rex, we are glad you found us

March 2008: Don Ditto Don was recognized as a Turner of the Month for all his efforts with the Club meetings video and the Photo Gallery		March 2008: Christina Torgerson   Christina was recognized as a Turner of the Month for always being willing to try new things and for showing a lot of potential as a young turner.
